Sewing with Knit Fabrics - a Helpful Hint
Do you sew often with knit fabrics? They can be super tricky because the edges curl up. Before you know it, you look to realize you're only sewing through one layer of fabric because the bottom edge curled. So frustrating. While sewing a cardigan I've been wanting to make for myself, I stumbled upon a trick that actually worked. Instead of pinning on only one side of the fabric, I pinned every 2 inches on one side, turned the piece over, and pinned every two inches on the other side between the gaps. It worked! I had absolutely no curling and zero frustration or need to rip seams.
